Music for a Film that Never Was

Kenny Greenberg’s first solo album Blues for Arash started as a film project that never came to fruition. Fortunately the music did.

The resulting songs are, in essence, a unique combination of African beats with blues based guitar.

Greenberg had no plans to make a solo album, but when the movie project dissolved, he realized that the songs worked as a complete record, and Blues For Arash was born.

Blues for Arash is a cinematic, lo-fi experience, and some of Greenberg’s finest work to date. Co-produced with collaborator Wally Wilson, the album features a multitude of excellent musicians including Justin Adams and Juldeh Camera (Robert Plant’s Sensational Shapeshifters).
